New Layout!

May 08, 2009: Rawr! I can't believe we went through a month without updating... Wows, that's like a first for this year. Well, of course, I have no real exuse to exuse myself for not updating, but I'm going to tell you how come we've been so busy lately, just for the people who cares. ^^
Well, first thing, I (Thao) has joined the Track & Field team at our school, so that keeps an extra two hours away from doing other things. Another reason why is because we were rushing to finish our manga for this "Graphic Novel Contest" held at our city libraries. The top prize is a $100 giftcard! Well, obviously, we just had to join that. I procrastinated, though. Then we had to rush through it. It was hard though, because it was limited to only 10 pages. Luckily, I think we finished pretty early compared to my friends. One of my friends couldn't finish, and the other one was able to finish -last minute. I had to help them outline boxes & bubbles. It was fun and a great experience. I think we all felt like real mangakas trying to be the deadline. Soon, we're planning to put up that manga we entered for the contest somewhere online. And then, we'll be putting more mangas we make on a website (somewhere).

I originally made 4 banners, but the other two just didn't seem "awesome" to me, so I deleted them. Ahh, there goes my hours on the computer to waste...
Anyways, how do you guys like the new layout? Obviously, we worked very hard on this layout. I was inspired by Kadou AnimeZ's layouts. Her layouts are very beautiful & design-ful. XD Of course, then, I added my own kind of style into it. I drew arrows on it because it reminds me of "gangster" writing, haha. And the character almost look like a rebel with the sword.
I had a hard time finding out who was this character. I thought for sure that it wasn't the main character because I knew that the main character in this manga didn't have long hair. However, Truc told me that it was the main character. I was utterly shocked. Then, she told me that the main character cut her hair near the end of the book. So yah, haha!
